Amidst the Misty Mountains lived a

Hobbit and his horde

Of gold and jewels and silver

And some sentimental swords.

Once he traveled far from home

To take back, with the dwarves,

Their gold, their glory and their realm.

A dragon — their reward.

Smote the dragon someone did,

This hobbit and his friends

Took their leisure of the loot

And there the story ends.
