Musings of the Mad

I know you think me crazy
But I’ve read a few things lately
And I’ill give it to you straightly
We have less than you think.

Of time — we will go under
Our future has  been plundered
We’ve blighted and we’ve blundered
We are masochistic things.

It’s dangerous to live
In an eternal state of glib
Although it’s one gigantic fib
It’s not what fate would choose.

	But we ignored our needs
	To fulfill some moron’s greed.
	And now the planet bleeds.
	And all of us shall lose.
