I’d rather be a hater

There are some things you should never ever do

Like sell out your comrades

Or make someone feel bad

Who never did the slightest thing to you.

So be true to yourself

Don’t pretend to be someone else

And you’ll never have the problems that you might

If you were simply acting

In a way that is distracting

Don’t let anybody tell you what is right.
