I wonder why God would want to be a cicada?
What could one possibly get from a life underground,
Only to emerge for such a brief period?
What do they do when there’s no one around?
There underground, what poor souls can be found?

the people in this video don’t understand how cicada know when to dig up! I suspect God tells them and that’s enough for me. Academics must have explanations though! haha
