Though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death, I fear no evil. For the Lord is my Shepard. He guides me from within. His rod and his staff comfort me. He will walk with me for the rest of my days and I will never fear any man.

People who do not have that sort of relationship with the Lord fear everything. They walk around in a state of fight or flight all the time. Afraid of their own shadow so much that they refuse to face and befriend it. I am doing that work.

Tori Amos once said “Teach me how to love my brothers who don’t know the Law.” Now I know how to love those people and sometimes it means holding them accountable for their behavior when it negatively impacts me or those I love. So that will happen.

The Law is not optional. You don’t abide by The Law and you will suffer the consequences. And not after you die, you will suffer them immediately in your material existence. That’s the greatest trick the Devil ever pulled — convincing people reward and punishment are delayed until after ‘death’ when if you don’t live your life according to the Covenant, the death you will experience is a Spiritual Death. And that means the Holy Spirit will abandon you like you did Her.

But these are not permanet consequences. You are an immortal soul taking a short trip in a human body. God is Love. God is Grace. God doesn’t send souls to be punished everlastingly. That’s nowhere to be found anywhere in the Bible. But the Bible does warn repeatedly about false prophets.

I John 4

6 We are of God: he that knows God hears us, he that is not of God hears not us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

7 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and every one that loves has been begotten of God, and knows God.

8 He that loves not has not known God, for God is love.
