Forty Days of Sin

You mistake familiar for safe,
But my familiar’s a crow named Apollo.
He’s helping me murder my ego.
Wherever my soul goes, He seems to follow.

I do have a safe at the feet of my Goddess.
Your ‘safe’ is boring, but you’ll find company.
I’d rather be alone, myself, than with fools.
Cowards commune with cowards, you see.

Courage is easy if you know where to look.
You can’t find it outside—only within.
Your chest is your storage. They call it an ark..
You’ll need to to float through forty days of Sin.
